Following are the steps to describe how-to prepare tasty Louisianan Roux for a perfect Gumbo: We need the following for the preparation: a frying pan, a stick of butter (4 oz), flour (1/3 cup)2. Heat the frying pan and add the butter to it. Wait till the butter melts on the medium heat.3. When the butter melts completely, add 1/3 cup of all purpose flour to the butter.4. Mix the mixture well without forming lumps.5. Continuously stir the mixture on the low heat.6. The mixture becomes tight and does not stick to the pan. Now turn off the heat and allow it cool.
