Clarified butter separates the butter fat from the milk solids and water. This method is a quick and easy way to achieve this goal. All you have to do is heat the butter, strain , and store! You will need 8 3/4 ounces of butter, a saucepan, spoon, sieve, cheese cloth that is slightly damp, and a bowl.
